How to Play Simpleton Solitaire

Simpleton solitaire is a matching type solitaire game that uses a stripped deck of cards.

Simpleton Solitaire Rules

Objective

The objective of simpleton solitaire is to discard cards in pairs that match in rank and suit color.

Setup

Remove all 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s from the deck. Deal the remaining cards into nine tableau piles with four face up cards splayed down.

Game Play

Only the top card of each tableau pile is available or play. When two available cards of the same rank and color are available for play, discard them. Game play continues until there are no more available pairs to be discarded.

To Win

To win simpleton solitaire, all cards must be discarded from the tableau.
