Objective
The objective of contradice solitaire is to build 16 foundation piles. Eight foundation piles are built from 6 to Queen, and another 8 foundation piles are built from 5 down to King. Each foundation pile follows suit and must be in sequence.
Setup
Shuffle two decks together and place them face down in a pile to form the stock, flip the top card over to start the waste pile.
Game Play
There is only the stock, waste, and 16 foundation piles. Flip over the top card of the stock at any time to add it to
the waste pile. Only the top card of the waste pile is available for play. When a 5 or a 6 is flipped over to the stock,
they are removed to start a foundation pile. The foundation piles that start with a 5 are built down in sequence, to
ace, then to king, following suit. The foundation piles that start with a 6 are built up in sequence to queen, following
suit.
When the stock is exhausted, you may flip over the waste pile one time to create a new stock. There are only two passes
through the stock allowed.
To Win
To win contradance solitaire, all 16 foundation piles must be fully built. If the stock runs out a second time, and the foundation piles are incomplete, contradance solitaire loses.
