Objective

The objective of big freecell solitaire is to build the eight foundation piles from ace to king in suit.

Setup

Deal out all cards face up to ten tableau piles splayed down. Some tableau piles will have more cards than others. Have space for two rows of cards above the tableau, the top row will be the foundation piles, the next row underneath will be cells.

Game Play

Aces are moved above the tableau to form a foundation pile when they become available. To add a card to a foundation pile it must be one rank higher and of the same suit. Foundation piles may only have thirteen cards each and are complete once the king is added.

The top card of each tableau pile is available for play onto another tableau pile, a foundation pile, or a cell. Tableau piles are built down in sequence in alternating colors. To add a card to a tableau pile, it must be one rank lower and of the opposite color as the card it is being placed on top of. Only one card may be moved at a time.

There are eight cells. The top card of each tableau pile may be moved to a cell. Only one card may be in each cell at a time. Cards in a cell may be moved from the cell either to a foundation pile or to any tableau pile. The game is over when there are no more available moves.
