Game Play

Suits do not matter in this game. Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play. You may use any available card to start a foundation pile. Each foundation pile may only hold three cards. Foundation piles are built in ascending order. To add a card to a foundation pile, it must be one rank higher than the top card of the pile it is being played onto. For example, you could use the 2 of spades to start a foundation pile, then add the 3 of hearts, then the 4 of clubs, and you would have a completed foundation pile of three cards in ascending order. Aces may be played on kings to continue building in ascending order. The game is over when there are no more available moves.

To Win

Triple Union is won if 17 foundation piles are built in ascending order, each consisting of three cards, with one card left in the tableau. If there are no more moves and more than one card is left in the tableau, the game is lost.
