Game Play

Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play, either onto another tableau pile or onto a foundation pile. When an ace becomes available for play, move it between the tableau piles to form a foundation pile. For example, since the top card of the top tableau pile on the left column is the ace of clubs, it can be moved to start a foundation pile. Foundation piles are built from the ace in ascending order to the king, in suit. To add a card to a foundation pile, it must be one rank higher and of the same suit as the top card of the foundation pile it is being played on. Following the previous example, the 2 of clubs could be moved onto the foundation pile that was started with the ace of clubs, since the 2 of clubs is one rank higher and of the same suit as the ace of clubs.

Tableau piles may be built in descending order, regardless of suit. To move an available card from one tableau pile to another, the card must be one rank lower than the top card of the pile it is being moved to. For example, you could move the 3 of spades onto the 4 of diamonds, since the 3 of spades is one rank lower than the 4 of diamonds. When a tableau pile becomes empty, you may use any available card to fill this space. When there are no more available moves, the game is over.

To Win

Streets and Alleys is won if all cards are played onto the four center foundation piles. If there are no more available moves and there are still cards in the tableau piles, the game is lost.
