Simple additions solitaire is a simple addition solitaire game, hence the name.

Objective

The objective of simple addition solitaire is to remove cards in pairs with a combined value of 13.

Setup

Deal out two rows of five face up cards to form the tableau. Place the remaining deck face down to form the stock.

Card Value

King: 13
Queen: 12
Jack: 11
2-10: Face Value
Ace: 1

Game Play

When two cards have a combined value of 13, the two cards are discarded as a pair from the tableau. Kings can only be discarded in pairs of two kings. When cards are discarded from the tableau, fill the empty spaces with the top card of the stock.

To Win

To win simple addition solitaire, the stock must be depleted, and all cards must be discarded from the tableau. If the player runs out of moves before all cards are discarded from the game, simple addition solitaire is lost.
