Rolling Stone Card Game Rules

| Players: 4 | Type: Trick-Taking | Supplies: 1 Deck |

Objective

The object of this game is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in their hand.

Deal

Remove the 2-6 numbered cards from the game. Deal 8 cards to each player, one at a time.

Card Rank

(Highest Rank) Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7 (Lowest Rank)

Game Play

Players look at the cards in their hand without revealing them to their opponents. The player left of the dealer goes first and places any card from their hand face up on the table. Play proceeds clockwise.

On your turn, you must play a card of the same suit that led the round. If you can not play the suit, you must pick up all of the cards in the middle and add them to your hand. You then lead the next round.

If each player played a card of the same suit, the player who played the highest ranking card wins the trick and takes the cards in the middle and places them face down next to them, out of the game, and not into their hand. They lead the next round.

Winner

The first player to get rid of all the cards in their hand is the winner. The moment a player plays their last card, the game is over.
