Game Play

The top card of each tableau pile is available for play only onto the foundation pile. Empty tableau piles are not filled. The foundation pile may be built in ascending or descending order, regardless of suit. Aces may be played on kings, and kings may be played on aces. To play a card on the foundation pile, it must be one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the foundation pile. The direction of the foundation pile may be changed at any time. For example, you could play the 7 of spades on the 6 of clubs, then the 6 of hearts on the 7 of spades.

When there are no more moves the player wants to make, deal the top card of the stock onto the foundation pile. When the stock is depleted and there are no more moves, the game is over.

To Win

Golf is won if all cards from the stock and the tableau are played onto the foundation pile. If the stock is depleted and there are no more moves before the foundation pile contains all the cards from the tableau, the game is lost.
