| Players: 1 | Type: Solitaire | Supplies: 1 Deck |
Objective
The objective of fourteen out solitaire is to remove all cards in pairs that have a combined value of fourteen.
Setup
Deal out all cards face up, in twelve columns, to form the twelve tableau piles, with the cards splayed downward. The first four tableau piles each have an extra card.
Card Value
Kings: 13
Queens: 12
Jacks: 11
2-10: Face value
Ace: 1
Game Play
Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play. To remove cards from play, match two available cards that have a combined value of fourteen, and remove them from the game. When cards are removed from a pile, the cards underneath are now available for play since they are the new top cards. When a tableau pile becomes empty, the space is not filled. Play continues until all cards are discarded or there are no more moves.

To Win
If the player removes all cards from the tableau, they win fourteen out. If the player runs out of moves before all cards are removed from the tableau, fourteen out is lost.
