Aunt Mary Solitaire Rules

| Players: 1 | Type: Solitaire | Supplies: 1 Deck |

Objective

The objective of Aunt mary solitaire is to build the foundation piles from ace up to king in sequence and following suit.

Setup

Layout six tableau piles with six cards each. The first tableau pile has six face up cards. The second pile has the top five cards face up. The third pile has the top four cards face up. The fourth pile has the top three cards face up. The fifth pile has the top two cards face up. The last pile has only the top card face up. All other cards are face down in the tableau piles.

Place the remaining deck face down to form the stock.

Game Play

As aces become available they are moved to start a foundation pile. Foundation piles are built in sequence from ace to king, in suit. Only the top card of the waste pile and top card of each tableau pile may be played onto a foundation pile.

You may build off of the top card of tableau piles by adding the next lowest rank card that is of the opposite color to the top card of a tableau pile. You may move a group of cards that are in the proper sequence from tableau pile to tableau pile as long as the bottom card of the group of cards being moved is one rank lower and of the opposite color than the card the group of cards is being played on.

When there are no more moves available, flip the top card of the stock to form or add to the waste pile. There is no redeal. After the stock is exhausted and there are no more moves, the game is over.

To Win

To win Aunt mary solitaire, all four foundation piles must be built from ace to king, following suit. If the player runs out of moves after the stock is depleted, the game is over.
