How to Play Ants Solitaire

Ants solitaire is an easy to play solitaire game that uses one deck of playing cards.

Objective

The objective of ants solitaire is to build the foundation piles up or down in sequence regardless of suit.

Setup

Deal out a row of four cards to form the four foundation piles. Underneath that, deal out a row of four cards to form the four tableau piles. Place the remaining deck face down to form the stock.

Game Play

Foundation piles are built up or down in sequence regardless of suit. There is no limit to the size of a foundation pile. Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play onto a foundation pile. To add a card to a foundation pile, you must add the next highest or next lowest rank. Aces can be played on kings and kings can be played on aces to continue the sequence.

Cards may not be moved from tableau pile to tableau pile. When there are no more moves available, deal out a card from the stock to each tableau pile.

To Win

To win ants solitaire, all cards must be moved to the foundation piles.
